Vicki Chambers: A Jam Packed 2016!
Well it has been a while since our last blog, Christmas kind of took over the C & E department throughout December!
Our private Christmas parties started mid November, with our very own party nights starting on 5th December. Even though it is one of our busiest times of year and we see our ‘work family’ more than our actual families, we wouldn’t change a thing!
We all love the atmosphere here over Christmas and really enjoy the buzz of setting up both of our function suites for sell out shows, welcoming guests and ensuring they are all fed and watered and then watching everyone enjoy their evening. We really do enjoy the job satisfaction of seeing guests enjoy themselves, we take a step back and say we have worked hard as a team to create this.
Since returning after the Christmas break, I have been busy booking acts for 2016, in fact today Daniel Clarke in our communications team has managed to pull together the final proof for our 2016 What’s On Guide and all of the confirmed acts for through the year have now been put on to our what’s on page, click here for further information…
As for Christmas 2016 well that is also confirmed and ready to go on sale! We have mixed it up a little this year and added acts that you our valued customers have asked for, from Stephen James and his Olly Murs vs 80s tribute to Gary Pease and his fantastic uncanny tribute to Rod Stewart there is a Party Night and Cabaret Show to suite all musical tastes.
Returning in 2016 we have our Pro Boxing Shows as well as the Amateur Boxing, Kick Boxing and White Collar Shows. Sporting Dinners are in the process of being booked we are awaiting confirmations from Paul McGrath and a very well known Football Pundit, as well as something for the Rugby Fans, World Cup player Neil Back will be entertaining us in December with stories following his long career in the game.
