Conference and Events Operations Manager, Vicki Chambers looks back on a busy week and ahead to see what’s in store as we creep closer to the festive period.

“We have had a very busy couple of weeks here at the Banks’s Stadium, we have had conferences and meetings in everyday to keep our staff busy. We also had a very entertaining weekend with our Decades Party on Friday Evening then a change round early on Saturday Morning for our clash with top of the league Gillingham which turned out to be a very exciting game with a last minute goal to secure a 3-2 victory!

We then had another big change round for our Cabaret Evening with Talon which was another sell out show.

We also held training sessions and interviews for our new Christmas Staff who all worked with us over the weekend and did extremely well.”

Looking Ahead…………

“This week as well as hosting the huge annual Conference for Barhale, we have many other companies joining us for small meetings and conferences. On Friday evening we have a slightly early Christmas Party for one of our regular clients and after our Cup Tie with Fleetwood on Saturday afternoon we have ‘fight night’ with the White Collar Boxing event.

I will also be working with the communications team this week as we finalise the 2016 What’s on Guide, we have a few new artists booked in for next year and plenty more of the very popular Boxing events.

As Christmas is getting closer it’s also time for us to take a trip to the store room and dust off the Christmas Decor! We have a lot of prep to do before December which I always look forward to.”
