As you’d expect, there’s a real buzz around the town with just over a month to go until global superstar, Elton John, plays here at the Banks’s Stadium

There are still tickets available for all price brackets (£40, £60 and £80) as well as a limited number of Bonser Suite hospitality packages for £225.

There had been a few murmurs that we had sold out of Elton John tickets, but this is NOT the case!

In other news, Sir Elton John has unveiled plans to bring the award-winning stage show, Billy Elliot, to the big screen.

Speaking at the show’s 10th anniversary performance, Sir Elton said: “It would be lovely to do a film version.

“There are other songs that we had had to leave out of the musical that would be great in the film.”
