Staff Blog: “The Team Behind The Team”

Duty Manager, Stephanie Kumari provides the latest blog entry as we edge ever closer to a busy spring schedule.

“SO HERE we are in February already, Christmas seems like a distant memory and the New Year is running away with us.

January was as successful as ever, we had our hands full with conferences in the day times while getting ready for our sell out Party Nights in the evenings.

Match day hospitality has had a real buzz around it, as all supporters are tuning into the #IBelieve campaign, strengthening our promotion hopes. It is always a pleasure to be able to engage with the supporters at such an exciting time for the club.

Talking of exciting times, it is crazy to think that today Facebook popped up to remind me that this time a year ago we were working our way through a 7 hour queue for our historical day at Wembley, something that I will always have happy memories of, being able to be a part of the experience and being able to witness Walsall FC’s first time to Wembley Stadium.

There’s always something going on at the club, and no two days are ever the same.

February again is another busy month with conferences, and meetings. We have some big events scheduled that will no doubt keep the team and I busy. From old regulars to brand new businesses, it’s great to see that the conferencing and events is getting just as much support as the players on the pitch.

I take great pride in the work that we do off the pitch, many times it has been said that we are the team behind the team, and I am grateful and proud to be a part of it.

I’m looking forward to the next few months here at the club, and I hope to see you all here at some point, whether it be match days, our upcoming party night on the 26th February or for a meeting in the day.”
